Scole Church of England Primary Academy has become the eleventh* school to join the Diocese of Norwich’s St Benet’s Multi-Academy Trust, with Diss Primary Academy Partnership Executive Headteacher, Jo Cerullo, taking on the headship along with her current role.

Mrs Cerullo, who oversaw a ‘Good’ Ofsted inspection at Diss Church of England Junior Academy in September 2022 said: “Scole is a lovely, small primary school. I am thrilled to be taking the school under the guidance of the Diss Primary Academy Partnership leadership team into St Benet’s.”

Richard Cranmer, CEO of St Benet’s Trust, said: “During the development of St Benet’s it has become abundantly clear that small rural schools benefit enormously from collaboration with other schools. Linking the Scole community with the very successful schools in Diss will further enhance the experience of the children at Scole and we very much look forward to working with their staff and children.”

Scole Church of England Primary Academy has 61 pupils and 16 staff and it is rated ‘Good’ in its latest Ofsted.
